The 9th Aljazeera International Documentary Film Festival, which will be held in April 2013 in Doha, Qatar, has officially opened its call for entries and will accept submissions of short, medium, and long films for its Main Competition, as well as films to participate in its New Horizon competition for new filmmakers and youth and Promising Film competition for students of Qatari universities.

The deadline for submitting entry forms will be 15 January 2013 and for receiving films 15 February 2013.
